    i took the heel off with a saw. I dont like heels anyway, then i took a 4 1/2" grinder and smoothed all the little ridges on the bottom of the boot, and did the same with the piece of tire.     if you dont want to use headphones with the legend and are concerned about speaker issues its no big deal. Just use the vibrate function, i use it all the time. The legend is built like a tank. The nox 800 is a good machine, i just prefer the legend.
