I was able to do it with my D2 under water. It settled at 57 (salt water) on beach program.

Some beach finds ( warning, no gold)

That’s the plan!…..So far , zero on gold! That’s the first time ever for me up to this point of summer!

What are the frequencies in each D2 mode?

May XP themselves can give you the answer or, perhaps Gary?…….Yeah I understand the manual isn’t fully detailed on the exact frequencies of each program. I know their weighted specifically on type of search that’s selected but, that is it.

What are the frequencies in each D2 mode?

Don’t it show the frequencies used for each mode in the D2 manual, pages 12 & 13? …It gives a general scale of the weighted frequencies used depending on search mode selected.

How’s everyones detecting with high gas prices?

I’m starting to believe inflation is hitting the beach too!…….My findings have cut way back lately……I’ve also noticed fewer people there in comparison to last year too.

Anyone using Deus 2 in full tones?

I do at the beach with no discrimination! I get better information & can hear the iron & iffiness in a suspected junk signal….I know one thing for sure, I come home with very little bottle caps now using full tone.

    XP D2 depth

It’s no doubt the deepest VLF unit I’ve ever used at the beach. It’s no slouch!

    Lots of lead sinker.

That’s a nice haul of lead there!….That’s one good thing about my beach that I don’t find a lot of. Fishing isn’t allowed in the swimming section .So ,that helps out on that department!

    Some more beach finds

Thanks!…..been desperately trying to find the gold but, so far to no avail. I’m running a little behind in comparison to last May. I had 3 gold rings then. Even my buddies are behind as well.

    Some more beach finds

Hunted last night at the tide line. No gold was found but, I managed to scrape out these out though. Can’t believe I actually found the complete set of earrings that are made from Jamaican coins! The 2 other hoop earrings are silver. The black tungsten ring is nice though! I found a similar one...
