Tesoro coil questions. 4 pin or 5 pin connector?

I can't answer all your questions unfortunately, but from my understanding, the 5 pin coils will fit all the Tesoro models, except the Cibola, Vaquero, Tejon, and the Lobo Super Trac which use coils with 4 pins. The coils for those detectors are referred to as "Delta" coils while the other...

OOOPS, I did it again.. Nope, didn't meet Britany spears..... Back from OBX

Like you said, if it’s not there, it’s not there. I have noticed a decrease in coins even inland the last few years Mark. In the 18 years since I started it is nothing like it was back even then. That soft sand is not a good sign as you already know. All the heavy items are too deep to detect...

Gone Back To A NEW Nox 800.

There is a piece that can be attached to the top of the handle that is supposed to help with this, by having more surface area for the top your hand/ fingers to rest against.

    Totlot wonder

Wow, that is a pile of coins to come out of a tot lot… I hardly find anything in them nowadays. I do remember stopping by a school some years ago that apparently had not been detected at all and the tot lots were full of coins… even dollar coins! Sounds like you still have some ground to cover!!

    Tesoro Toltec 80

I do not know much about it other than it was introduced in 1988. There is also a Toltec 100 and a Toltech Ii. The Toltec II had the control box under the armcuff and a separate meter in front of the hand grip.

Hey Dave how about this one?

I believe you are correct on the ID. I looked them up and they are quite ornate. I remember going to a coworker’s house and he had one. On the outside was a twist assembly that made the bell ring. One thing I feel certain of…whatever these are, they are the same thing…

    Egyptian Buzzard God?

I found this pendant a couple years ago and it had been in the ground for a good while judging by the depth. No marking whatsoever on it, but I took it to have it checked and the jeweler told me she felt confident it was silver. It is made up of several individual pieces.

    Egyptian Buzzard God?

I think you should get it tested or checked too.. looks too intricate in design to be junk metal. Killer find either way!!
