    6" dd coil

On my 800, I have had very good results with that small coil. A few years ago after trying in a small trash infested yard on 4 previous trips there using the stock coil and found 14 additional coins there with the small coil. Got great depth too! I run my iron bias at “0”. I also run Park 1...

    Tesoro Coils

Like Donna stated above, it may be difficult even finding someone to let one go if they have it. I actually have one myself along with the 5.75” concentric and the 8”x9” stock concentric coil. It has been a while since I used my Vaquero, but I have no plans to get rid of it or any coils for it...

    Missing Tesoro Once Again!!!

That Eldorado is a great detector. I bought a used one somdd red years ago while the company was still in business, and really liked it. I later sold it only because I had a Vaquero that which replaced it. I really like the controls on both of these models… both very easy and fun to use. Never...

    100 yr old House

Nice finds, but strange you did not find any old coins there… not even a wheat penny? I would go back a couple more times and try there if I was you…. Sometimes the better find show up long after the good signals are gone.

    Very odd puffy quarter

That is a strange one for sure… kind of reminds me of those fake nickels that held water and you could squirt it on people.

    Yesterdays Relic Hunt

Great find… and with an inexpensive little work horse detector too!! Just goes to show you do not need to buy the most expensive machine to make nice finds… I love the one I have and have done well paying it off already in less than a year!!

    Equinox owners?

You are way ahead of me Ted. I have only found 4 silver coins this year, but one was a Spanish 1 Reale, which I was shocked to see. Most of the silver I find is in early Spring and later Fall while it is cool… fortunately most of the time I can continue during winter months too here in Virginia...

    Coil Wire Jacket 70/705 Coils

Some of the coils for the Sovereign had this issue a while back. From what I recall, Minelab started using a different type of cable covering that was not U.V. resistant. This covering started cracking pretty fast. I have not had any issues with any of my coils so far and they are pretty old now.

    Medallion.

That is an interesting find! No idea on the age of it though.
