    I had a duff D2 coil. very unstable and loadsa false signals. sounded like a loada demented clangers singing in ur ears. whites replaced it without question for a super 12" which transformed the detector.     Hi Jimmy ....whites have the best customer service of any company i have ever dealt with. send it back and it will be back good as new before you can blink !!! I had coil problems and they sent me out a new one without question with only two days hunting lost. all the best rob :smile:

    Anyone using the 12" coil? I am on my second one and....

    I am using the 12" super which works fine. I had all sorts of issues with the D2 which has gone back to whites for analysis. The 12" has transformed my detector. I have found though that from bitter expierience the RX gain can rarely be pushed above 10 in any program without erratic nonsense...
