    Low-Boy/LCPM why dont you just buy the machine, and find these things out yourself? you could always sell it if you was not happy with it, like any detector you buy. If the F-75 is such a good machine why are you looking at getting somthing else

    testing coils

    I think that what people do not realise is this is a 10 inch dd coil, it will be more sensitive to iron,you also need to work the coil slowely for best results. If you want a nice quite coil either the 9.5 consentric coil or the best of the lot the 10x6 dd coil Now if your get the same deapth...
