    On land the elite has a STRONGER depth hit . On the beach the Triple....Both detectors hit the targets but the audio gains are set up a little different by the engineers...I am trying to get Nokta to add a adjustable audio gain setting.

    Both are close...The beta I have has a small depth advantage on the beach...toss up...Then it becomes which tones, layout etc...I can navigate both easy...

    If your hunting gold try fast program....High freq makes it hot on gold.....I use a modified version to hunt relics in fresh water. General is always a safe place to start.

    Where I live the rings and coins do not sink below the hard clay. If I am hunting in that environment I use 40kh because I am looking for gold rings etc .40kh is the deepest on mid to low conductive targets....If your looking for coins that might be another story...if not heavy iron lower the...

    I think general might do you well there in 40 max freq...If iron is present you might want to try fast modified to your 3 tone setup.

    Close to same weight but balance is different...The 800 ALWAYS hurt my hand during a long hunt. The Nokta machines do not have the same angle and are better in that department. IMO

    3rd Day of Beta Beach Program Testing and Thoughts on the upcoming Beach update.

    Runs stable in the waves with a 12 to 13 sens in my area. My good friend tested it on the Gulf coast today and said it still had good depth with coil submerged.I have tested it on the Carolina coast. Really impressive for a detector under 500 bucks. Gonna cause XP and Minelab to have some head...
