Strange problem with Excalibur

Tengo un problema extraño con mi Excalibur. Funciona bien en tierra y en agua salada, pero en cuanto baja a una profundidad de seis pies empieza a volverse loco y a pitar continuamente. ¿A alguien le ha pasado?

English please.

English please.
Translation:
I have a strange problem with my Excalibur.
It works well on land and in salt water, but as soon as it gets down to a depth of six feet it starts going crazy and beeping continuously.
Has it happened to anyone?

Sounds like interference of some kind.
Hopefully water isn't getting in the coil or control box from the pressure.
I don't run one though I've known many who have them. Old seals were the problem.

English please.
Last time I posted the same I had some D-Wad jump all over my case. He was a Mexican United States Army veteran if I remember right
Acted like a Big tough Hero who had his PANTIES wrapped too tight... It turned ugly and all posts were deleted on this fight and subject. Be careful as he may come back to show us his Big Tough Ego and what a Hero he is being a Veteran. I Applaud his Service but was Irrelevant to the
discussion. Like I said he had his PANTIES wrapped too tight. Wish you the Best Sir...

I had my Excalibur get water in the coil. I let it dry out and put some silicone on it and it works better while hunting in the water. But now I have a XP deus 2 for water hunting.

Salt water leak is the problem for sure, just a matter of time before it to the point it's totally affected and things stop working.

Before sending it in I would suggest a major inspection of every Mill Meter, ..........cables, control tube, battery, coil. Look for cracks in the plastic every where, from the (2) endcaps to the control tube, o-rings to the knob shaft tubes. Look the battery wire and ikelite fitting over very close and the endcap for the battery tube.. cracks. cracks cracks. Then inspect the cables even if you have to use a jewelers loop to go over the coil wire, under the coil look for cracks or separation. Those coils are famous for cracking cables.. separation and.......... wear where the shaft rubs the coil ears on the inside of the ears, I've seen them leak there from wear.

Years ago I was experimenting with coil cable connectors, I was using the Bulgin Mini's (which they no longer make) the excalibur worked like a champ.. on the beach, wet sand and shallow waters. But once it went under... submerged a few feet the thing would go crazy, falsing. I finally gave up on the Bulgin connectors, and found some 3m SS type, solved the problem. IP67 never cut it, IP68 good to about 10 feet.

Thank you for your advice

Every connector and cap that unscrews.
I'd get a good silicone grease and re lube every seal.
Auto parts stores have good dielectric grease for coil wires.
Unless anyone has a better choice.
