I've been looking for a book called "The Complete Unabridged Zip Zip"...by Larry Sallee. Ive hunted everywhere on the net....everyone is out, and wished they could get more copies (its out of print, with the last printing 2004). I have a Goldmaster II, and Ive heard its a great book on nugget hunting using the Goldmaster in the book, but with good stuff for anyone with any gold detector. Does anyone know if there is going to be another printing, or of any place that might still have them, or someone who no longer wants, or needs their copy?
(It seems with renewed interest in electronic prospecting, it might be a good time to have another printing)

I borrowed the book from my brother and it is very informative.You might check any libraries near you,the last one I saw on ebay went for over $80.With this kind of demand for the book a reprinting will most likely come about.

Call Larry direct at Venture West in Lake Havasu City, AZ I believe he has a new book out that cover everything in the original edition and more.

I reseached the number, and name, and there doesnt seem to be a Venture West listed, nor any answer for the number I found from a forum post from several years ago....I called a Whites dealer in Lake Havasu, and they said they couldnt get any answer from his number for weeks...mabe he's not in business anymore. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion, it was worth a try.

Just recently purchased at e-bay a used copy of "The Complete Unabridged ZIP ZIP" by Larry Sallee for less than $10 and am waiting for it to show in the mail this week. The book was said to have been dropped bending the cover and had some pencil marks in it. I think I can live with both and can erase the marks. The prices I've seen for these books vary greatly on up to ridiculous. Garage Sale season is coming up so you may want to hit some to see if you can get an inexpensive copy before paying the big bucks. I had almost gave up looking on-line when I finally ran on to this one.

When I saw this copy and for it's price, grass did not grow under my feet. I could be wrong but I think when it came out new, it went for around $24 or so. Have seen them as high now as $75. Maybe someone knows for sure what they went for new. Good luck on your search.

My used copy of the unabridged Zip Zip showed in the mail this afternoon and it was the back of the book that was bent and only one page has a red pencil mark from maybe a child so I'm happy with it considering what I've seen them go $$$ for.
