zink pennies

seem like all i can find is zink pennies. is it possible that my ear is trained to zink only. i usually hunt for an hour everyday most of the time it's 6 or more zinks nothing else. been hunting driveways of old abandon farm houses

lay a zinc penny and an older penny on the ground and run your coil over them, you see the sound very different. sounds like your hunting good sites just listen for those deeper targets

Keep digging those zincs .... I had a zinc penny signal that I thought I was going to look down and see on top of the ground. It turned out to be a black hills gold and silver ring with a diamond just under the grass roots. That was a $300 signal that I almost passed up !

Zinc signals can be plenty of things. Indian heads and 10.00 gold pieces. I know BOTH from experience. That high a tone, dig dig dig.
