JESUS LIGHTS THE WAY
Jesus lights the way for His own to follow,
When the lies of satan we do not swallow-
Hook, line and sinker, for when 'tis the darkest,
God's Word is the revealing light giving the sharpest,
Glow of His truth that the world can behold,
To be walking someday where eternity will unfold,
As Jesus is the way, the truth and life;
Who's the salvation of souls, for enduring the strife,
We all must overcome to make it through-
Whatever length of earth's journey given me and you;
So, let the light of Jesus' love be shown,
By the reflection of a beautiful soul still glowin',
As a born-again creation full of Christ's glory,
While to the others the Gospel of His story,
Is told far and wide, so our Savior lights-
The way Home, although black be the nights-
Of the trials and tests each must pass,
To dwell in new Jerusalem shining like glass;
Sparkling crystal clear, for it is made of,
The purest gold and Jesus' most wondrous love;
Therefore, light a candle, two, three or four-
To guide the spiritually blind to God's shore,
Where Jesus' peace brings perfect joy the day,
Saints arrive into heaven as He lights the way!
