Your vote for the best detector manufacturer and why.

My vote goes to Tesoro for three reasons.

First: every detector they make is awesome! Deep, stable in iron and trash, lightweight, sensitive, and did I mention deep?

Second: their warranty is the best in the business. Lifetime on all their products, whether you bought it new or used.

Third: they have multiple coils for all their detectors.

I have owned Minelab, Teknetics, and Fisher and they are all good at what they do, especially the T2 and the F75.

I still want to try a Troy and a Whites too but as for now Tesoro is my #1 company.

For me it is Whites ...My old XL PRO will still hold its own with the new detectors.
Whites service is tops for me....Resale is also tops...but i won't sell my detectors
And yes whites last a long time...I still have a goood working TR66

Well i only have 2 and one is an old Radio Shack. So I am going to have to say Minelab. My dealings so far have been very good. I like how light the X-Terra is and easy to use, Beale.

the xl-pro is "nasty" at finding coins!..i think it IS white's best model!..ironically it is the the detector they no longer manufacturer!..bummer!"

But
White's needs to get off their butts and replace the IDX, Classics and Pro XL (6000) with something decent. The MXT and M6 are nice but not my cup of tea.
