Lots of great finds posted around. The most I ever got for a coin (silver half) was somewhere around $18. Scrap. I've found maybe 20 30 some silvers, Absolutely no interest on any of them except for scrap. Same as Wheats, I.Heads, Buffalo nickels. Any of you guys find a real good one?

Nothing here of note that fits your question parameters as of this morning, maybe by this afternoon?...it could be just one 'ping' away though, just not here inside the house.:sadwalk:......

I've found coins that I Ebay'd for in the neighborhood of $400 to $500 -ish (key date barbers, seateds, etc....). And I've got 2 gold coins, that .... if I were to float them .... they'd be in the neighborhood of $1k to $2k. But for the most part, the coins we'll find will either be common dates, or have been "kissed" by the ground such that picky numismatic persons would reject them. Even most of my gold coins were common dates/mints too. Hence fetching only $200 to $300-ish.

1879s Morgan in pretty good shape (for a dug coin). Most valuable only because it's the heaviest so scrap about $12, collector value maybe $18-20? Worth a million to me tho......lol

1917-D type 2 standing liberty quarter, found in an old church yard, graded XF-Au sold for $115.00, found using a Nautilus Dmc-2

1904 O Barber quarter. Came out of the ground with a 1906 and 1896 barber dimes. All the coins were in almost uncirclated condition. I have been offered $200 for just the quarter. I found them with my AT Pro.

Mine would be a 1877 cc quarter. I did not sale it or have it appraised but it is in good shape and has really good detail. I will probably never sale this one.

1916 D mercury found about 15 years ago sold it for $300, wish I had kept it Same condition today would bring over $1000. Also 5 1914 D pennies. These were all found when I used to only hunt coins. Mostly hunt CW relics now. Mark

1879 seated dime

I found this 1904s half dollar in an old amusement park site in 2012 . I had it professionally cleaned then appraised and eventually slabbed by SEGS. It was on the cover of WETreasures magazine Best finds of 2012 issue. It was appraised at $3500+. I don.t ever plan to sell it.

"cleaned" ? Sheesk, that doesn't look "cleaned" to me! You have an overly pick grading person there. I'd say that's a GREAT find ! thanx for posting !

I found two actually. A 1914D penny I don't have a picture of yet and this small 10.00 eagle that only 14000 were ever made.

I have sold 3 dimes for a hundered dollars each. 2 1926s dimes and an 1894o dime.
