:detecting:2 hour Morning hunt Excal,

lesson Grasshoppers,

1. dont over look faint deep broken signals that do have some repeatable tones
2. be ever observant of who's using the beach,
3. slow sweeps and scrub the sand..silent search

Actually i'm a novice an these lessons are for me....

ok enough with the shaolin stuff..hit a beach this morning, its been hammered by none Excal users, ya keep buying those other detectors (just kidding)...they mostly find change and bottle tops, they were everywhere, dug up next to there uncovered holes . good thing the surf was filling some of them..they can be a real hazard to runners.

finds silver bracelt and 4 14k GOLD (wire posts) earrings, all close together.....one of them is gold quarts. all were deep and faint, excal got them though...thats a record earring finds for the ol captn....
even found a 1 dollar sag-a-waga coin (under the cuff thing)....worth...ONE DOLLAR! total take about $4 in clad..

Lifes a beach, live it well
