I never had a Fisher before and the opp is here for a CZ 7a pro......Whats a good one worth.........
And how do they perform here in Northern Calf where ground mineral is moderate
to high.....I hust mostly schools and parks where the trash is relitivitly high and as far
as I know there isn't a extra coil that will come with it.......
Thanks all
Dang

Like all CZ's properly tuned as deep as any coil for coil..User friendly, excellent notch system and ground balance and they do have a 5 and 10.5 as acc. coils. They are easily masked by iron but with use one can become proficient.
Do remember the new Fisher is concentrating on their F units and parts are a problem for digital CZ's.
As far as price $350 plus or minus depending on the units condition acc's etc...

I've had a CZ 7a pro for at least 8 years. Presently use !2" coil on the beaches. For trashy areas, the small coils would be wiser.
I find it as good in general detecting as any other detector I've ever used. Good depth and distinct target distinction.

If parts are a problem for digital CZ's, I suspect that they will become a problem for the CZ-5 too! I have a CZ-5 that I bought new and it has a lifetime warranty...if parts become a problem, how do you think that the "New" Fisher will handle the problem? Kelley (Texas) :)

Remember yours is an analog(CZ5) and they still make an analog in the CZ3D which is a new version analog so see no problems relative parts. Heck I have a digital CZ70 pro and having used CZ's since 92 with little or no problems am not worried as like the energizer rabbit CZ's go and go. Fellow asked for an honest opinion and thats what I gave him and tried to cover all angles. Certainly when one company merges with another problems arise but the new Fisher is certainly doing a competent job considering the circumstances...
