This young cow loves to eat watermelon. Kelley (Texas) :)

They love watermelons and some vegetables, not just meat eaters like most folks think.
 
I took this picture of a full grown Texas Longhorn cow a few years ago. She is thin because she had given birth to a calf about two weeks prior to my taking this picture. She was protective of the calf and was aggressive towards me when I took the picture. Kelley (Texas) :)

Very different from the cattle up here, yet not as thin and rangy looking as the brahman cattle we see in Costa Rica. Wicked horns on this one!
 
So these are your cows Kelley? The calf has a very nice color pattern, and the horns on the mama cow look like they would definitely hurt.:stars:
