Here is a very good video done over in England dealing with the different tones the Sovereign GT has yea it,s a air test but it does demonstrate the many tones the GT can produce ,if your just learning the GT this video will help a great deal , i think this video does it very well the best i have seen so far , just watch and listen carefully . This guy uses lots of different ring,s large and small old and new gold and silver plus junk rings found on beaches . He did a great job amazing the many tones the GT gives , plus a few different setting,s he uses , i learned something about notching out ring pulls i did not know i always was under the impression it would notch out small and large gold nope not true :clapping: Very informative video i give this guy a A+ . Enjoy Jim

I agree Jim, informative video. However, for me, it goes to prove I have to dig most targets. There are some I can pass on and be comfortable, but most I'm going to have to dig.

Two people, ( Lorraine and Craig ), that have extensive experience with GT, have just recently made posts that they have dug gold rings that have come up ( as they described ) as " growls ", tones that normally wouldn't have dug.

Pull tabs is still a tuff one to pass not digging low growls i find can be large gold , in video he produced a few growls with foil but it can fool you sometimes it,s gold go figure , this coming week ill be digging beaches on the South Shore my sis will be going with me 4 full days of signals on wet sand and dry ocean beaches  Jim

I like it but Jim I was impressed with your call on the small gold on the audio speaker test...you called that very well....sign of a experenced hunter.
