Any,Sovereign is a great detector.Not that difficult to learn.And it finds old coins and rings.It may help explain better on the Sovereign mods site.Good luck Silver Star,I remember your first post.The Sovereign is the Real deal not some metal detector Hyped up by a sales pitch.

Trying to Decide between the F-75 and the Sovereign GT. I hope to make the right choice. It seems as though the GT with the probe available and optional coils and meter would be the best choice, not thrilled about the slow response I have heard about on the GT versus the F-75 which I have heard is lighting fast. Waiting on a few more reports and I'll go ahead and jump in been reading here for months. Taking my time as I will only have one detector unless I can get the wife interested then I'll have 50 or so as she will need different detectors to match her outfits
The Sovereign separates very well even with the larger coils.The Sovereign does work better slower,but with the 8 inch Tornado the sweep speed can be is increased fast enough.I don't like a sweep speed at a swat fly pace.The Sovereign has a prov-en track record for making great finds in worked out areas.The Sovereign at the beach is the best period,except its not water proof like the Excalibur.
