this morning in a local park,i found with my silver xmax,a1968 silver dime.big deal you might say.well i live in north queensland,australia.a long way from yankee land and like i said,you never know where you are going to find these funny coins.blowfly
 
I have seen a few that look just like a silver but the sandwich should be visable at the edge...

You never know what will turn up ahere...As long as tourists have been around they have been leaving stuff behind..

Blowfly, several years ago I found an Aussie penny in my yard in Northern Idaho, North Western US. That's part of the fun.

That is way kewl !!! I found a coin In my driveway that is from Thailand,,,, not to much of that around Northern California
 
Yep found a 150 year old German coin in N.E. Pa....Also a Twoonie from Canada and a 1700's chinese coin that must have been lost by the early workmen on railroads..so one never knows...
 
Yesterday I found a 10 Krounur coin from Iceland in a tot lot here in N. Idaho.
