WOW, the time flew by on me. i don't usually say much, but i will say that i'm proud to be a member of find's forum and appreciate all the work the mediators and owners do. it's a great forum, and i'm always just amazed at the great finds everybody makes. i truly believe that online metal detecting forums are the single best thing that's happened to the hobby of metal detecting - they brought us all together. so...keep on posting up those finds, 'cause i'm looking! thanks, and hh!
 
Yeah, isn't AMAZEING how time flies when your haveing fun?---And the most amazeing part of all--EVERYBODY just keeps on gittin older (except me)!! :lol:---Keep up the good work everyone, this is really a great forum.--------Del

We had a master reset 4 years ago so some of the "old timers" go WAY back and don't show it. I have been here 10 years and it seems like last year I ordered White's new DFX and joined up with the new DFX forum. ....:laugh:

Gary put his first Findmall forum, actually the Finds BBS forum for Minelabs, up in February of 1997. At that time there were very few forums, T net, which was put up in November of 1994 was probably the first one, and where us "old timers" began posting. T net was a knock down, drag out detector wars forum in the beginning. Andy Sabisch put up the OnlineTh'er forums, then the Had Tesoro forum and right afterward the Depot. Most of us drifted over here from T net to get away from the fussing. I posted as John (MS) but think I only made a couple of posts on the first page of the forum. Photo shows the first post on Findmall, Gary's welcome message, url is to archive of his first forum on web.archive.org. Seems a long time ago............

I agree - great forum. Its greatest strength is that all of us know more than any one of us and are willing to share.

My god! I'm hanging out wid a bunch a old f.a.r.t.s! You been here so long I'm surprised you can get it up (no, not that...!) your detector, of course. Wow two years. Hey, CONGRADS. :bouncy:
