7 months ago i would rarely even bend over to pick up a penny laying on the ground.now i'm digging for them and loving every minute of it.
 
Metal detecting has special rules you must follow. You have to apply the multiplier to your coins. For each scoop of dirt you multiply the face value by 10. A penny at 3 scoops is really worth 30 cents in metal detecting value! If you dig a nickel you use a multiplier of 25! Rings are priceless!
This is why you used to pass up on those coins just laying around - no multiplier!
