I can't believe the good luck I've had
as of late. I started out with the Ace but
after a couple hours switched over to the MXT and WHAM! POW!
KABOOM! There is was. Unfortunately I need some work on
my digging technique because I can see what appears to be
marks on the face of my find.

This town I have been in is a hard town to MD in because the people
here are so suspicious! Apparently some "scrappers" blew into
town a few years back hitting vancant houses as well as private
residences. They put a stop to that but now it's really hard to get
anyone to trust you. When I asked one fellow about MDing a vacant
and historical building next door, he asked, "Whats in it for you?"
Everyones got an attitude now. I told him it's just a hobby.
Everyone's so afraid, especially if they think there's something of
value in their yard. I've been so tempted to tell them to get a
metal detector nd find out if they are so concerned.

Ah well.

Very nice silver dollar and the amount of clad wasn't bad ether. Well as long as you are neat on your digging and don't leave a mess maybe the word will spread that you are a good person and don't leave any mess and the people will open up to your hunting. Anyway Congrats

Now that's one heck of a nice find Katz. I've not found one and if I did, Larry would have to carry me to the truck. :stretcher: Very nice finds! HH to all, Nancy

Great find Katz :clapping::clapping:

That's one you'll never forget. I had the same pleasure 5 years ago and still remember like it was yesterday.

I bet you'll pick it up and look at it with a smile every day for the next two weeks:biggrin::biggrin:

Congrats,

Matt
