We used to see that in the National Parks often. Elk are nearly as good eating as Moose if you get a dry cow:biggrin:
 
same thing in Yellowstone. At the northern entrance, where it borders Montana there is a little village and the Elk are all over town. Dang fools try to walk right up to them and when I am there they are in rut. The Elk are very aggressive. People are stupid
 
no time to do anything but dive under when i got way too close and ticked him off! Others in nearby vehicles thought it was hilarious:lol:

Talk about under the yum yum tree. I saw a similar picture in person in Jackson Hole, Wy. Big Elk refuge there and they were wandering further out from that in the people's yards. I know a lot of hunters here, but to those that do, thinning the herd there would benefit the herd and the dinner table and their shrubs. What cha think Wayne and Mike?
