Granny Cake


GRANNY CAKE


MIX TOGETHER


1 1/2 Cup of sugar

2 EGGS

1 tsp Baking Powder

1 Tsp Baking Soda

1/2 tsp salt


--------------------------------

Add and Stir
1 large can Pineapple (Crushed) include Juice

2 Cups of Flour

1 cup of crushed nuts

pour INTO 9x13 CAKE PAN (greased)


--------------------------------------

TOPPING

1 Cup Brown Sugar

1/2 cup chopped nuts

Sprinkle over cake mixture and Bake 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes

in small sauce pan



Bring to a boil

1 stick butter (Melt)

3/4 cup of evaporated milk

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla


Pour over hot cake

his wife gave me some. In fact I took a bunch home. It was sooooo good that it lasted about half the night. I took little bitty bites, which is not my norm, so I could make it last. We went kayaking the next day and he brought the recipe! It is the best I ever ate and now my mouth is watering from thinking about it
