You folks will not believe this! Can you say Blingy da Bling Bling? Pics and Video

Steve and Bia

New member
Bia thought it would be a good idea to take the kids to a playground. I said, "I'm tired" but would go if the kids wanted. Naturally, they did but Bia had an agenda! She snuck her detector in the van and didn't tell me she brought it until we landed there.

All I am going to say is I would have never hunted this piece of property. It's just a small playground at an elemnetary school. What child will loose something of value... Right?

In the first pic you can see this little playground. It's small and loaded with metal. Bia headed out and I thought I'd tag along just to help. On the third hold we extracted the most unbelievable 22K Gold Medallion Necklace- I had a heart attack... I'm in the emergency room posting this right now... (not really)

It's marked 916 (Euro)

Here's a little video of our event. After the necklace extraction I grabbed a camera!

Lots of the right kind of playground equipment, the kind that lets kids hang upside-down and dump their pockets. I've found lots of goodies in playgrounds like that, at least 6 gold rings, countless silver rings, and lots and lots of clad.

Get a little 3-tine plastic hand rake from Wally World for about a dollar, and you'll have a handtool that will move LOTS of woodchips in a hurry.

Bia, what detector are you running..what indications did you get on your detector..how did it show up..I'm used to Garrett GTAx1000..with ID and depth indicators...guess I'm spoiled...just curious what range it showed up in !!!
