You Don't See These Every Day....

The Kidney stones were kicking :surrender: but the C$ was kicking harder! I got permission at an old school (Now a house) with a foot print of 1874. I was hoping for an old coin or two, but all I got was another gold pulltab! (10K) It could use a little more cleaning. It's a 25 year service award from the United States Treasury. Now how did that get there? I moved across the street to a new permission and got a 1900 IH and a WAR NICKEL (That's right...another nickel without a 3-D :poke: ) It was good to get out again.....It's been a while!

WTG Tony - just found my first Buffalo nickel with the C$! I notch out foil and I know you don't notch out anything, do you think that makes a difference on the C$ when it comes to finding nickels???

Thnaks & HH - Hawkeye Jim.

to see a nickel hit that low. But I shutter to think what you may be missing down in that foil range (Other than foil I mean) I understand people nothing foil, especially in rock hard ground. I passed over a couple yesterday myself. I couldn't get them out of the ground if I wanted to! (and I wanted to :rage: ) But I WILL be going back after we get some rain! :) Congrats on the buffalo Hawkeye

Seems like the few times I put "FOIL" back into play - my C$ operated more eractic, so I would notch out foil again and it seems to run more smoother!!! Maybe it's all in my head, anyone else have any opinions on this??? HH all. Hawkeye Jim.
