You Can't Buy Heaven
Salvation is a gift from God that is absolutely FREE! Because God sacrificed His only Son, to come to earth and die on Calvary . . . eternal life is now available to everyone! All we have to do is surrender our hearts and life to Him! Many have difficulty comprehending how such a gift could actually be "free!" So, they try to "earn" salvation by doing good things, working hard in the church, giving bigger offerings . . . but the truth is, you can't "buy your way to heaven!" The only way we can receive God's gift of salvation is by giving our life totally to Him! The act of surrender enables us to be brought into a personal relationship with God and experience His amazing love. When we understand His love, our gratitude motivates us to show our appreciation and gives us an incredible desire to do even more for our Lord and Savior! We need to thank God daily for His awesome love for each of us that He would make such a tremendous sacrifice . . . so that we can live with Him forever! What an awesome God we serve! Text: Ps 62:1, Eph 2:8-10, Rom 5:8
