I focus only on silver and and old coins. I calculate i find 1 ring for every 15 outings. Usually a crappy one. Then again im not concentrating on finding rings. To dig 10000 times getting junk and then finding maybe a gold ring may be worth it for some. I have to do a test on some different rings to see if i can discriminate them decisevly from junk. Im sure ive missed some rings but i would have had to dug obvious trash repeatedly, and im not into that. silver last year was aprox 1 for ever 3 times out. THis year im finding silver every other but who knows if it will continue.
 
I found more rings in the first few months of learning with my new ACE 250 than I have since then. Just seems to me that now I know how to use it and all I find is coins plus the other neat stuff. I know I will find one. I'm just getting annnnssssiieee.....
