:yo:3 Hrs. - 10Mins. - the lane today - :goodnight:

The forecast was so good for today, I emailed my boss yesterday and told him I was feeling bad and probably had a 48hr. virus---------------------

He said, what is the tide low on thur. ??

Anyway I went in today and around noon sure enough I started feeling very bad. My boss said max, I guess u better go home, u look kinda ruff, so home I went, loaded up rice burner and 19 mins. Later I was walking down the lane from 28th south to 14th and back-----------3:10 spin

No gold again, bummer----------but the lane was how I remember it, not like Sunday when all u could find was clad, today-------------some junk, alum, pull tabs and clad. The lane I know and love---------did find more fishing tackle than normal, and my 1st. set of sunglasses for 2007

So no one in the lane, but as I was exiting, I ran into sam from the club and sam is sporting one of the NEW SLATBACK SCOOPS by bill babb-----------------man oh man, we are talking super light

I think you can expect me in the lane sometime this weekend. :D

Why is your scoop painted green, any reason. Sorry about the Lane in that it didnt produce today but you know it will, maybe next time....

Thanks for the pics and the photos!!!!!!!!!
Jamie

i painted mine yellow

the aluminum oxidizes and turns your had gray

that is the only draw back to alum. scoops...........maybe the waves knock them around tooo

We'll have to see which color attracts more and better beach babes! I'm putting my money on yellow!

Cheers,

BDA:cool:

PS If I can manage to slip away from work this afternoon, I'll catch the 4pm low tide at Horseshoe Bay.

hopefully you get paid hourly so at least you'll have some big OT paychecks there.

I had a few weeks like that last year, and I'm salaried so get nothin extra - I have a couple technicians who work for me who make more than I do per year due to OT pay and I'll bet in the end I put in more hours than they do. They never believe me when they ask how much I make and I say "probably less than you do."

Try not to kill yourself with work and hopefully we'll have a big storm sometime after your brutal schedule.
