Anyone out there used solar powered battery chargers,forgot to pay the light bill,don't have a car let alone a car charger,can't afford a new 9v right now,will a solar charger work,Chuck,in the dark...........

There are some solar panel battery chargers out there for AA's-I think Brunton makes a couple versions. Probably a 9v option as well! These are popular with backpackers and folks that live for the 'walkabout'.. Might check REI, but it sounds like you still have access to the 'source of all knowledge' (internet).
