I was sitting here at the computer and smelled something. After a few minutes something said you better check that out! Started looking around and I found that one of the stove knobs had been turned on!
Best I can figure is that the little guy we watch who is now walking must have turned it on! He and my wife had left a little while ago and just me and my oldest daughter are here. She is home sick and was sleeping. It could have been a bad ending to this story! There was a lot of gas in the house! Praise God the ending to this story is me telling you guys about it!

the Holy Spirit spiritually quickened you to check on the stove and nothing seriously happened....could have been a bad situation. My grandson, Nathan, loved to turn knobs on everything, so had to watch him carefully when he was little and with me while Tami worked.

Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for protecting Your children! We love, worship and adore You! Blessed be Thy holy name!!

God Bless!

I had that once. I thought, I smell gas. I sat back in my chair and had a smoke and wondered where it was comming from..........
Just kidding
Glad everyone is OK and you better watch the kid as he now knows how to turn knobs!!

even without any kind of explosion the gas it self would give flu like cold symptoms and then everyone would slip into an eternal sleep. We had a pilot light once go out on a heater - didn't realize it. We all got 'colds' kinda like the flu and found it was the gas that caused the symptoms.

Air out the house and get fresh air in. Anyone 'sick' might have excessive carbon dioxide (or is it monoxide?) in their blood leading to the flu symptoms.

Glad you checked it out Mike.
