:yikes:Bought The Wifey A Car Today With Some Of My Gold Turned To Cash :cheekkiss:

Nice guy
I won't be showing my mine this post.

Jeff

Boy cars must be inexpensive up there. I just looked my 2006 Grand Caravan SE up on Kelly Bluebook and it's still worth within $750 of what I paid for it in March 2007 when it was a few months old. Course having worked in the car business at one time I always virtually steal my cars when I buy them and never pay even remotely close to full bore.. HA. I bought this van for $7000 less than what they were asking. I had them haggled down $14,000 on one van but I really didn't want it and was just checking to see how much I could squeeze them for. HA. The head guy there said, " Damn, you've done this before haven't you."
I said, " Yeah, lots of times." HA.

It was originally listed at $11,999.00, then $9,999.00 for quick sale. We bickered and bickered and got it for $7,600.00 inclusive.

I guess a Voltz/Matrix.. Same thing, different names.. Should be a good car.
Based on the Corolla. I've got a 2005 Corolla.. It's been like a Timex so far.
I did get recall notice to replace the engine control module, but haven't taken it in
yet even though they said the part's are now in.. Lazy, and hate to wait around the dealer
for them to do it.. They say it takes about an hour. I guess I'll do it before too long though.
The problem is possible cracks on solder connections/traces. I've never seen any
problems so far though.
This may apply to yours too if it has the 1ZZ-FE engine. The recall covers the 2005-
2008 Corolla and Matrix. You will likely get a recall notice unless yours has already been
done before you bought it. I just got "the parts are here" notice a week or two ago.
