Went back to the park that was once the village dump...Once you get down about 8 inches, you start seeing the landfill dirt...a white powdery mixture form the pot ash and backing soda plant that was once here...First coin dug was a 1954 Rosie, and that was all she wrote for silver for the day...The ring looked real coming out of the ground, but in the hand, it was way too light, and no markings. Probably a gumball machine prize. I found a pocket watch (one piece at a time)...Also found were 2 Wheats 1942 and 1950D...Oldest clads were 1964, 67x2, and 69D Memorials.
