Got a few hours yesterday to swing the coil, so I went to a local spot with some buddies. In 4 hours, managed to dig 55 Fireds, and 4 drops.

I was doing good last weekend diggin about a dozen three ringers in a couple hours hunt. We found a small area to dig near Halltown that suprised us. we thought if there was anything there at all , it would be covered with fill. HH.....................Ed

mike, be sure to wear gloves when you are digging all that lead. wouldn't want you to get "LEAD" poisoning! <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">

This trip out, John made an observation, and I followed up by looking closly at the bullets I have been pulling out. Out of the 4 drops that I found, 3 of them were hit by a bullet that was fired into the hill. I recovered 11 bullets out of one hole, and I had to cover it back up for another day. I went 18" deep, and was still getting good signals <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> John believes that they were throwing their garbage over the side of this hill, and I am almost inclined to agree. One or 2 more trips will tell the tale <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)">
