Yesterday's park finds!

So yesterday spend 3 hours at local park. Removed old pool and large cement pad! This park has been the center of our community since the early 1800s. Hunted to death over the years and I've never found much here til this renovation! Started out finding wheaties and a couple IHs. Not til I got around the old cedar tree did the silver pop out! I've always wished for a silver day like I see on this site and I finally had my day to shine. All silver and rings were running 4 inches deep. Got a 1912 v nickel in the silver area but can't make out mint. It's pretty toasted, and the small dove pin and the 62 infantry pin were a cool find also. I've tried to date the military pin and thinking it could be ww1? So total count on the day is 2 sterling rings, 3 merc dimes, 41s, 29s, 24s, a barber dime 05p. 3 IHs 1882, 1906, 1903. Wheaties 20s, 39s, 25,17s, 44, 29, 35 and a few I can't make out. And a 1912 v nickel. Swinging the AT PRO w/ pro pointer.

What a great day at the park! The collar disc use to have a screw-dial attachment on the back and to me it appears to be WW1 era as others have stated. I'd be going back to that place!

You cleaned up!! Nice job!! Congrats!
