Yesterdays hunt, no gold but a free show.

Went to the lake down from my house just to put more time on my new batteries to see how long they will last. So far 11 hrs. and counting. Didn't find much , but had a good laugh. This boat load of high school kids showed up to try water skiing, and knee boarding. The skiing lasted about 20 minutes and they gave up.

Now for the knee board that was where the fun started. The driver decided it would be best to start on land and snatch the knee board and rider into the the water at about 3/4 throttle. For the next 20 minutes I saw rider take off without knee board, rider roll across the ground, rider disappear under water as the knee board dipped at the point of hitting the water. I give the one big guy credit he was determined to get it. I did get one pic. of him right before he wiped out for about the eight time.They must have burned 20.00 worth of gas and no one got more than 10 yards from shore. They gave up and left.

Here is my nut for the couple hours I was there, and a couple pics. of my entertainers for the day.

Done my share of water skiing and knee boarding when younger. No way could I do it now.
We would do two and three persons on one knee board, and no - I was not on the bottom.
The trick was getting off, the top person would bail first, also a few fun wipe-outs.
