Here is my silver ... both in good shape. From the WW2 AAF training base.

Here is the sterling insignia badge Keith found. The single "shaft" type pin is missing. It would have been secured with a sterling or brass dammit. Can anyone tell me what unit designation this badge represents. If you look closely at the stylized bird, it looks to be something (bird?) rather than eagle head. Almost looks like a hawk beak. Perhaps this badge is not USAAF ... perhaps from a Brit or Australian / Canadian training unit?
