4th time out with my ace 250. Hunted the same socer field that hunted many times. Got $2.30 in clad, and a 1899 barber quater in about good condition.

I've lucked out and got them all over the years. Don't find them anymore as silver of any kind here is scarce as hens teeth. Got pretty well wiped out in the 70's and 80's. The guy that started D&K Detector Sales here in Portland way back had one of those big, old time, milk crates running over with silver coins on display in his shop. Some yahoo broke in one night and walked off with it and some other valuables he had. I can still picture that crate in my mind and think how nice it would be to have that to show today to the younger generation of hunters.
