Not much to show coming from a site that has really been hammered but managed to find a few goodies. I did manage two more canister shots to clean and put in my artillery case I have recently started. Thanks for looking and HH!!

P.S. Notice the orange pc. of soapstone found while digging a target. It looks like a shield so I kept it.

These cleaned up pretty quickly as I start learning little tricks to make the cleaning process shorter. I have recently started prepping items to be put into the e-tank by taking a hammer and knocking off any bad rusty crusty areas then hit with either a wire wheel on bench grinder or a smaller wire wheel on a drill or even a hand held wire brush. Then I'll run it through the e-tank about 10-12hrs. then take out and knock the loose stuff off with the previously mentioned wire brushing techniques then it's back in the tanks for another 10-12 hrs. then repeat brushing and if not clean enough continue on with the e-tank. If all appears clean enough I'll wash them off and put them in the oven for about 15 mins. at about 300 to 350 degrees. Then I put Liberon Black Bison Neutral fine paste wax on them by hand while items are still good and warm to help the wax penetrate and seal to preserve. Then I'll wipe off the excess wax and put in the display cabinet. Thanks for looking and HH!!

Scott, Those are some cool finds!
I'm new to the hobby so would you mind explaining an e-tank?
Thanks,
Bob
