Yesterday was a good

Mike Chgo area

Well-known member
day. Finally a good roadway through a canyon to the other side of the lake here in Norther AZ. That is where house boats park and people swim and camp on the beach. The water is probably about 60 ft. below where it has been in years past. Old beach areas now dry sand and we did some detecting over there. No jewelry but found a few clad coins. When looking over various areas we looked for places where there were bottles or cans laying in the sand which would show where there would have been a lot of activity. The place we found looked good and when I got out of the Jeep and looked around found a crutsy nickel laying on top of the sand. We will go back over there next week. Hope all are doing well.

Must be some rings there somewhere.

Congrats on the better road to travel and hope you get to the detecting area before someone else does....for many have problem read your post and if living near there will head for it also to find the goodies first! Good Luck and God Bless! Ma
