Pickings are starting to slim down, no silvers for me today and only one 1953S wheat cent. My first target was a half dollar, man was I hoping it was silver, but it wasn't to be, it's a '72.

Just after I got there a fellow hunter from our local MD club showed up and hunted too. He picked up a rosie, and a few wheaties.

Next weekend I'm going MD'ing in Lake County, we'll see how that plays out :drinking:

I dug a cap gun today myself, but not nearly as nice as yours. Halves are still nice, even if not silver. Nice haul. HH jim tn
