These are my results of hunt #6 and #7 with the V3i (hunts #147 and #148 for the season). I don't know how anyone would say they don't find many coins with the V3i? I am going over parks that I have hit with 2 other detectors this season. I really don't know what the heck I am doing??? I am out there swinging and digging the hit tones and one low tone. (5 cents) Having a ball... Thanks for looking....Z

The V3I also loves thin necklaces, where my past detectors don't see them  Investigate all your repeatable foil hits, especially if there shallow.

Glad you are happy with the V. There are many more finds to be made. ROB

I have yet to get skunked on a MD hunt. I have found some areas that are awfully low on targets...but if you adjust your techniques, and locations a bit there's still plenty of fun finds to be had.

Congrats on the hunts..it's always fun to put a little jingle in the pouch.

Thanks guys for great info and encouragement. Went out today and really had to work to find 33 coins. But the bright side of it all is I am starting to find nickels. Found 8 today and not one coin spill. Every coin was out there by itself today. Lots of walking and swinging. I am noticing my quarters and dime counts are really going up. With my other detectors I could find 100 coins but over 70 would be pennies. Ah heck here is my finds for today. The lower metal badge like thing is a 1996 Harley MDA pin. ... Thanks for looking. Happy Trails....Z

cool finds on todays hunt. When I first started with the V3 I had a goal to really bump my nickel count up because I knew I'd find more rings that way..

it took a little bit of trial and error, but the Nickel count kept rising.. and then I started finding more rings. (I think I've found about 7-8 rings now, gold, silver, and a couple with diamonds) The best part was the nickels however I don't know why they just hold a special place for me, as my previous detector found them but it was a little less certain.

With the V3 if I hit a solid 19 VDI, it's a Nickel for me, 17 sometimes a nickel..and even a 21 on occasion.. yup pull tabs are still common..but who cares..it's fun anyway :)
