and we're getting hit by thunderstorms. Just thought I'd post this so you could see in relationship to Kalamazoo where I 'hail' from

"hail from" a pun if I ever heard one. It passed us by big time. But we're supposed to get some more this afternoon. We need it big time around here or anywhere for that matter. It's been pretty dry. Our grass shows it (turning yellow in some spots). How's your grass doing Pete?

Russ ;) HH

We got hit by two storms last night. Was on backup power almost all night and had no air conditioning. Floors were flooded where the rain came in. Our frozen and dairy coolers weren't on the back up system so all the diary, meats and some of the frozen had to be trown away - what a terrible loss of food and profit. (We've had a freezer bunker go down twice and all that food had to be thrown away - lost the freon so it didn't stay cool and we have had 2 times the coolers went down for the same thing - loss of freon and last night was the third time due to no power).

Grass is green here and wet. Though the grass needs to be cut spent enough time last night sweating in the heat and humidity at work I'm in no hurry to run out and cut the grass. Our little pine tree I planted 2 years ago sure appreciated the drinks of water.
