i travelled my 3030 today complete with hat to keep it safe i went to a roman marching camp that has been hunted by detectorist for years
we ran beside two other machines an etrac and a laser the 3030 did not get on with the etrac at all and spat alot when in the vicinity so i will check if i can change channels
i walked along a horse track that had been made at the side of a fence the 3030 gave me the sweetest two way sound i dug and there five inches down was a 1700 year old roman constantine coin OH YOU BEAUTY what a cracker about the size of a finger nail it has been heavily clipped but i hollowed like a comanche
this has given me just sooooooooo much confidence the coin is so tiny and i cant tell you how many detectorist have been over this ground
oh i am just THRILLED that i am going to be able to understand this detector i will put up a photo as soon as i get the camera out of the car THRILLED thankyou 3030

Congratulations on the find, can't wait to see it.......:clapping:
