Amazing what Bills mod does for a Whites Surf PI. It now screams on platinum and small gold, detects a nickle at 12 inches. The low tide is right for me next week. The Heat.

Yeh buttondigger, my HEAT should be back soon too. MrBill is just putting the finishing touches on her for me. He is cutting off the wire for mounting to the stem. Installing an 8" coil, so I can run my pulse delay at 10uS and cut out the chatter (I could never run 10uS in the surf with the 11"). It should also be a dream on pinpointing and be more manageable in the surf over the 11" (was floppy). I can't wait!

Bill makes it very sensitive to small gold and platinum. Boosts depth. Appears Whites left some "play in it" I like when Bill plays.

You will love the eight. No depth loss due to running the gain higher because of the small coil.
