Yellow fellow and wet weather question.

How does the yella fella go in the rain?
I don't have any covers for it at the moment,and will be stepping out the door in the morning for a solid week of hunting.Only problem. Rain is forecast for the location that I am going to for the next few days. I'll take a few sandwich bags as a temporary solution, but I need to know (apart from the speaker) how water tight it is.

Its not water tight. Oh a little misting isnt likely to hurt it, but surely no dunkings are tolerated. Just cover it with something and you can hunt in a deluge.

Not water tight at all. I just bought a rain cover from Pat Riccitolli for 15 bucks shipped. Great investment for protection . If interested email him at patmmr@aol.com

Thanks for the replies already guys. It's just after midnight over here, so I better hit the hay.I'll try and pick up on the forum from one of the local libraries while I'm gone.Just wish I was savy enough to communicate remotely.

My rain cover fits kinda sloppy. I was thinking about putting some Velcro in a different spot so I could tighten the cover and make it fit better. Do you think that would make the 250 run too hot and damage it?

Get a cover of some kind. It's about as water tight as a seive.
