Yeller Feller's Supposed to Arrive Today ... Yehaw!

Probably so!! And the only cure is to swing, swing swing!!

I wish that I hadn't gotten mine so early in the year. I have been suffering from yellow fever since receiving it over a month ago. Ground is still frozen in southern Mn. All I can do is "think spring".

It did come today and it is awesome as to depth and weight/balance! I am totally amazed and would like to thank all of you that steered me towards buying it (a tip of the hat to Bill(OR) especially; if he tells you something then you had better believe it).
My wife has been a die hard Garrett fan ever since I bought her the green weed-whacker she uses (GTAx750). I on the other hand have not (until now) been that enthused with the green machines. Boy is she going to have a field-day with this!
This thing will pick up a 6-inch deep (a bit tilted ... not quite lying flat) dime which has been buried for about 3 years now. It even ID's it correctly often enough (not 100% but at least 75% of the time if I have the sweet spot of the coil over it) to make me want to dig it up. My top-of-the-line machine from another company doesn't even know that it is there! The ground is heavily mineralized in my test gardens so 6-inches is really quite a deep find there.
My son's CZ70 (basically $800) will easily pick it up as will my 1270 ($560 and basically a relic machine ... not much fun for coin-shooting; which is what I want the 'Yeller Feller' for). I don't believe it will go as deep as these two but for the price it is truly amazing and worthy of a much higher price tag in my opinion. Oh yeah, you don't have to be HeMan to tote and swing the thing.
The GTAx750 will not pick up the coins any better in my test gardens than the Ace 250. I haven't been hunting with it yet so my first impression may be wrong but I don't believe so.
Thanks everbody (including Mr. Charles Garrett).

You're going to have a ball. The Yeller Feller is a real fun machine and no slouch on depth. Keep us posted on your success.
Bill
