Out for a winter snow dig after getting 12 inches of snow dumped on us this week. My 250 got a coin signal, and out popped this nice 999.9 % gold chinese medallion <img src="/metal/html/grin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":grin">. It was down about 3-4 inches and the little loop had broken off. I am confident now, that if I ever get this lucky to find a piece of pure gold, that my "Yeller Feller" will read it as a good signal.
 
Beautiful piece. I tested the 250 on some gold nuggets when Garrett first sent it to me and it worked fine.
