Went out after supper to a high school bus stop that I figured would be littered with coins and junk. I used the 4 1/2" sniper coil on the ACE 250 and bagged 154 coins in about three hours. And......I found a nice silver ring with some mother of pearl embedded in the ring.

Last year, a bunch of us Garrett folks were hoping Garrett would come out with a single frequency water machine. Hey John,

Are you using that 150 in fresh or salt water?

The reason I ask, my Ace 250 goes wacky in salt water. I have to turn the sensitivity down to three, and it still gives false signals quite a bit.
