Yeller Feller And I Did A Snow Hunt Today.... :)

I was rolling coins this morning while it snowed. Dang, the ACE 250 was sitting in the corner just wagging its coil, hinting a walk in the cold. Well, never turning down a challenge, I dressed him up with a wool sock, tucked a hot pack inside and headed outside for a couple of hours. I got $00.69 and lots of fresh air. What else could a person need..... :)

Man John, I hate to rub it in but it was in the high 80's here on the coast today. I was afraid I would burn up a circuit. Then I remembered your post so I did the opposite. Kind of a "cool" idea, huh:rofl:

We don't need that here in Fl. We have a COLD front coming and it is dropping down to 80.
When it is summer time and in the mid 90's with a 100% humidity, most people stay indoors. Not me. My shirt is completely wet and sweat is running in my ears from wearing my headsets. Instead of frostbit, I get light headed and wobbly. I can't drink enough water. In the mornings there are probably a 1000 blind mosquitoes on my body. We don't have to worry about wild animals, just wild people.

Sounds like fun...........NOT...............

You wouldn't have went out here today. It's pouring down rain and slamming against the house. Flooding all over. Supposed to get 2-4 inches tonight. It is NASTY!!!!

Yeah I talked to my brother-in-law tonight and it was 95 in and around LA. I used to live down there when it was a paradise. Way to many people now. It's a cesspool. My wife was there a few years ago and it took her and her brother three hours to drive from Mira Loma to UCLA, about 60 miles. No thanks. Probably take four hours now. :)

I live halfway between LA and San Francisco. It's Gods country here. Nothing like LA. Here is a last winters pic looking out the front of my yard toward the foothills. Notice the buzzards. It's gotta be pretty calm for them to hang around.:goodnight:

Yeah I've been all over the state. Lived in Yuba City/Marysville area for awhile when I worked a Beale Air Base on the facilities for the SR-71 spy plane. Lived a short time in Santa Barbara. My old man helped build Oroville Dam. Lived out in Riverside County. Used to fish for stipers on the Sacramento. Fished Lake Isabella and all the other lakes up that way. I've seen California. :)
